Here at the ByDanJohnson.com site, we get questions all the time related to aircraft whose companies are defunct or have gone on to something else. “Where can I find this part?” “How do I get documentation?” Sometimes we have the answers and sometimes we don’t. But it’s something we talk about every week, so in this video we discuss tactics for owners and potential owners of “rare” LSAs. What are the resources available to you? How can you get those parts you need?
Let’s discuss!

As a “news and Information “ website, it would be great to look at and cover the pain of ownership for those owners of SLSA aircraft, where the company is still in existence and pushing their product, but struggles to offer anything relating to post sale and warranty support. Most of these relatively small LSA manufacturers have no technical expertise or support outside of their home base. For example, buying a plane from a company based in Florida and trying to get support for a plane based in New Jersey is an absolute nightmare. This is often an overlooked subject.
