Happy to see Flight Design remains committed to their outstanding CT line of aircraft. Every one of the changes and improvements they announced for the CTLS 2020 are definitely “on the money” and VERY encouraging to this reader. These new features and improvements will ensure the CT remains a leader for the next decade.
I feared the new F2 / F2e / F4 would consume all the company’s energy and resources in the future. But this does not appear to be the case. Newer, younger pilots like myself – most of whom can only afford ultralights – will be delighted to learn there are now not one but two outstanding sub-$200k choice available in a modern (read: fuel-injected, parachute-equipped) aircraft.
And they both come from the same company: Flight Design. An extensive support network and a large population of current CT owners ensure these CT airplanes and the newer F-line of aircraft will retain the top slots for many more years to come.
Thanks again for all your great aircraft reviews. (Not just Flight Design, but all of them.) Please keep ’em coming!
