North Wing makes more trikes than you might think. We also have a video on the sweet little Solairus, a soaring trike. In this video we review the Maverick, a more deluxe single seater with a beefier engine from Kawasaki. Yet even with the additional features, Maverick still fits into Part 103 where no pilot license, airman’s medical, or N-numbers are needed.

I have been flying a powered parachute for years. Friends that I used to fly with now have trikes. I was told that the Aussie-made trikes wings are made by North Wing. Is that true? If so, I will pass on the good news. What a great ride. I look forward to owning a trike myself in the future.

Hello William: I am quite sure Airborne makes their own wings but perhaps other trike makers in Australia use North Wing. North Wing has become the dominant supplier of trike wings. They do a great job and have many, many years of experience. To know for sure, I strongly encourage you to contact North Wing directly.
