A Hungarian design from a company called Apollo built this familiar looking aircraft. But now, it is primarily assembled in the USA, in Florida. Apollo Fox may look like a familiar older design but in fact, Apollo Fox has experienced several changes. One of them for example, it a taller vertical tail that helps bring very cooperative handling. The wings fold, too.

Dan, does the Eurofox come from a reputable company? Please feel free to PM me. Aaron
Dan Johnson says
You are asking about Eurofox — known as Aerotrek in the USA — in an article about Apollo Fox. They are similar but not the same.
Yes, the Aeropro Eurofox, sold as the Aerotrek A-240 and A-220 in America, is a reliable company and so is the U.S. distributor Aerotrek.
Dr. L. Edward Baker says
Although this aircraft is now called an Aerotrek, I still like the airplane and would like to investigate it for possible purchase. I know that to do so would be to accept a used airplane, but, I am willing to make that deal in the right circumstances.
Dan Johnson says
Actually Aerotrek and Apollo Fox are not the same airplane. Aerotrek is the U.S. name for AeroPro and their EuroFox (as it is called in Europe). In the USA, use of the term “Fox” is restricted by ownership by the Kitfox company. My experience in both aircraft was very positive. I’m sure you can enjoy Apollo Fox. Good luck!
Amu says
Aerotrek is a Eurofox.
Dan Johnson says
That is the correct name outside the USA but because Kitfox pursued all “-fox” aircraft names, Aerotrek had to change from Eurofox in the United States or face legal action.
