CHINA’S FIRST AIRSHOW AFTER COVID-19 AeroJones to Debut CAAC-Approved CTLSi model
Xiamen, CHINA / 31 August 2022 — AeroJones announced plans to return to live airshows by exhibiting at the 2022 Hunan International General Aviation Industry Expo in Changsha and Zhuzhou from August 31 to September 4. The event shows a positive move for trade shows after a quiet period for the last two years. Many are excited to view aircraft and learn about aviation opportunities.
Event organizers say the theme of the expo is "General Aviation Ushers in a Better Life.” The main venue is located at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. There is a sub-venue for air show at the Zhuzhou Lusong Airport. |

AeroJones is based in Xiamen but will mount a professional display (image) at the Hunan International Expo. The Expo venue is also the home of a competitor, Sunward Group, maker of the SA60L Light-Sport Aircraft. The local company is the largest seller of such Light-Sport Aircraft in China and has also won acceptance from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
AeroJones was established in 2013 and is completing its 10th year in business, a noteworthy accomplishment it will celebrate officially in 2023.
At the Hunan International Expo, AeroJones will introduce their newest model, the CTLSi, with the last letter describing the use of the modern Rotax 912iS engine. Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has recently given full approval for AeroJones to deliver this new, advanced model (certificate below). In addition to a state-of-the-art engine, CTLSi is full of sophisticated features. |

“AeroJones is #2 in China but #1 in the World,” the company observes, referring to sales success among China-based manufacturers of Light-Sport Aircraft. Sunward has achieved more sales in China than AeroJones, but Xiamen-based AeroJones also sells in Australia, Thailand, other Asian Pacific countries, and the United States in addition to China. This year in China alone, AeroJones is enjoying excellent sales success.
“We are pleased to earn CAAC approval for our CTLSi,” said Mr. Hsieh Chi-Tai, General Aviation Development Vice President for AeroJones Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. “Winning the certificate was lengthy process but it proves the reliability and sophistication of the CTLSi model.”
“AeroJones is pleased to have a presence at this first event in a long time,” said Mr. Michael Chou, a licensed Commercial Pilot who handles marketing for the Xiamen company, AeroJones Aviation. “We are happy to visit Changsha and Zhuzhou and look forward to speaking with attendees.
“At the Hunan International Expo, AeroJones will display our newest and very capable CTLSi aircraft at the 2022 Hunan Expo,” said Mr. Jack Lin, a Vice President for AeroJones Aviation Technology. “We believe our aircraft is very competitive and we look forward to show it to all those who visit.” The company will also have its very sophisticated CTLS Flight Simulator on display.
This year, AeroJones will complete their new aircraft manufacturing facility near the Dalu General Airport close to Zhenjiang (images below). Aircraft are fully built in Xiamen, China for the last nine years.
Primary markets for AeroJones Aviation include China and Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and other countries in the region. |
